Issac is in his third year at Christ the King Demonstration Primary school. His favorite subject to study is English and he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. He lives in Gulu district of Northern Uganda with his mother, Connie and his father, David.

Joel is starting his fifth year of primary school at Mother Angioletta, with only two more years to go after this before moving onto secondary school. He hopes to be an engineer when he grows up, but now most of his attention goes to playing soccer! Joel lives with his mother and father in the Gulu district of Northern Uganda. He was previously sponsored, but unfortanately his sponsors left the program.

Emma is nearly finished with high school! She needs only to finish "Senior 5" and "Senior 6", the last two years of secondary school. She is currently about half way through Senior 5. Emma tells us that her favorite subject to study at school is Math and accordingly when she has finished school she wants to become an accountant. Emma lives with her mother, Lanyero Concy, in the Gulu district of Uganda.

Gladys lives with her mother Adok Irene in the Gulu district of Uganda. Recently, young Gladys began her very first year at primary school. Already she has a favorite subject: social studies. When asked about her dreams and goals for her future, Gladys answers that one day she would like to become a lawyer.

Clinton is just over half way finished with his primary school studies. He is currently in the fourth of seven grades. At school, he most enjoys practicing his English skills. When he grows up, Clinton wants to become a doctor so that he can help sick people. Clinton lives in the Gulu district of Uganda with his mother, Aciro Caroline.

Ronald is nearing the end of his primary school education with only one more year left after this one! Then he hopes to continue on to secondary school to complete his education. His favorite subject to study is Math. Ronald also loves cars and trucks and one day he would like to become a mechanic. Ronald lives with his mother, Laker Maureen, in the Gulu district of Uganda. His father is unavailable.

Stella is over half way finished with her primary school education. She is in her fifth of seven years at Christ the King Demonstration Primary School. Her favorite subject in school is English. She loves her teachers at school, and when she grows up she wants to become a teacher herself! Stella stays with a woman named Laker Prossy and her family in the Gulu district of Uganda.

This young man has a full name of Emmanuel Akena Ojok. He lives with his mother and father in the Gulu district of Uganda. He is in his second of seven years at Christ the King Demonstration Primary School. At school, he most enjoys his science class and when he grows up he wants to become a doctor.

Sania is half way through her second year at primary school. She lives with her mother in the Gulu district of Uganda. At school, Sania says her favorite subject to study is English. When she grows up, this sweet little girl says she wants to become a nun.

This precious little girl lives with her older sister and brother along with their mother in the Gulu district of Uganda. Rita has just started her education. She is in the first of three years of "kindergarten". After these three years, she will move on to primary school. Rita has just begun to learn English and she can already say a few words. She says it is her favorite class. Rita loves her teachers, and when she grows up she wants to follow in their footsteps and become a teacher herself.
